One of our favorite weddings this summer was the Picha wedding, a celebration taking rustic elements and farm beauty together to create a gorgeous day. The bride’s family owns a berry farm in the Puyallup Valley, which made for a great wedding venue!
The bride, Lauren, chose to use our new fruitwood chairs, as well as a 40X80 frame tent to hold the reception in. When we met with the family in January, they mentioned how Lauren had a specific view of how she wanted the lighting to be hung in the tent. She didn’t like the look of a tent liner, but wanted the inside of the tent to still look elegant. We mentioned to her that we could use wires to support the many strands of lights that she wanted, but she wanted a more natural look. Instead of using the wires, we chose to weave the lights through the beams of the tent, which provided the support needed and still created a glowing atmosphere.
The wedding party also included their family dog, one of our favorite things to see!
The wedding also used a large New England dance floor for the dance party after the reception!
We were so honored to be included in this wedding! If you have pictures of a wedding that has used our items, we would love to see them, and you could be featured on our blog! Send all photos to: info@americanpartyplace.com!
A special thanks to Something Minted Photography for taking such gorgeous pictures of the happy couple!
